The PEG Tube
PEG stands for percutaneous (through the skin) endoscopic gastrotomy (stomach tube). When patients are unable to eat to nourish themselves, then a PEG tube may be placed through the skin into the stomach. Here you see the tube within the stomach. Liquid food can be infused through the tube into the stomach.

 

 

My PEG tube was placed so I could eat. The RADIATION OF THE THROAT take a long time to heal, usually 2 years or more in some cases.Scar tissue has blocked my throat so I can not swollow regular foods.
