A PEG tube is a tube which is placed into the stomach and extends to the outside of the body. This was used because the pain from the RADIATION TREATMENT prevented me from being able to eat regular table food. My food at this time had to be in a liquid form. The formula I used was a product called BOOST DIABETIC NUTRITONAL SUPPLEMENT in a Vanilla flavor.
This formulation comes in two other flavors strawberry and chocolate. I preferred the Vanilla because if we had a spill it did leave any stains. My intake was 8 cans a day.
